Impact of online teaching on school students.

 Online teaching has gained immense popularity among school students in nowadays. Previously also online teaching was in use but it was not poplar among school students. But with the start of pandemic situation suddenly schools were closed. the only way to sustain the learning teaching process was to turn to the online teaching. At the beginning there were so many difficulties had to face both teachers and students. As time went on it became very close on both of them. But it affected school children in various ways.

There are so many positive and negative impacts of online teaching on school students. The positive effects made easier for them to learn as well keen to learn. Due to the online teaching students able to do their studies in an easy way from anywhere. Their time also not wasted. In normal school days they had to spend some time on transportation. But the online teaching save their time as well energy. Because of online teaching family members able to help students as well identify difficulties and weaknesses.

Students can engage in self study in addition to the knowledge provided by teachers. Because they have enough time and facilities for it. For online teaching students want only an internet connection and a device. They relieved from playing extra money for their travel and other expenses in normal school days. There are some students who are shy away from asking questions in the classroom. Online teaching helps them to improve their questioning skills.

There are also some negative impacts of online teaching on students. We can consider as the main point lack of technology and devices. Without good internet connection and a device like laptop , mobile phone or desktop computer can't connect with the online teaching. As well some areas have signal problems. In such situation students can't go other place which have signals like neighbor's or relative's place due to pandemic situation. In some families there are more than one or two children. But they have only one device. If two children have online classes on same time, it creates a problematic situation.

While conducting online teaching sessions teachers ask questions from students for active participation to the lesson. But many times students do not respond. Like that situations teacher don't know that students with class or not. As well without feedback it's difficult to continue the lesson. In online sessions most of the students off their video. So they can do whatever they want . Because of this they can behave without proper attention. Also their family members are not around them the situation may be worst. Other bad thing is students addicted to watch videos, playing games and various unnecessary things.

As mentioned there are both positive and negative impacts of online teaching on school students. However when considering the current situation of the country online teaching is the best solution till schools are open again and back to normal.
